"This is very serious. They don't know what they're getting themselves into and
what kinds of people they could meet," said Eva Karlenfors, detective inspector
in Stockholm police's prostitution and trafficking unit.
"This is across the whole country," she said, noting that the problem increased
as the use of mobile phones and the internet increased.
The sites claim to have a minimum age of 18 for their participants but police
say that many young girls lie about their age.
"This is not easy money, even if they think it is. Many take drugs to be able
to carry on," said Eva Karlenfors to Metro.
